Institutional Effectiveness, Research and Planning (IERP)

The purpose of Institutional Effectiveness, Research and Planning (IERP) is to serve as the official source for accurate, accessible, and timely information to support decision-makers in planning, policy formulation, resource allocation and external reporting. IERP strives to ensure student success by gathering and analyzing data concerning students, faculty and staff as well as institutional programs, services and operations. Reports generated from this data are used internally to support institutional decision making and transmitted to external agencies as required.

Responsibilities include the areas of accreditation, assessment, research, curriculum, and planning.


    • Oversees submissions to the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG)
    • Ensures compliance with Southern Association of Colleges and Schools: Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and TCSG standards
    • Facilitates the development and ongoing revision of instructional programs
    • Serves as a resource for statistical analysis and research design for the College, as well as for survey and questionnaire research
    • Coordinates and oversees college-wide assessment efforts
    • manages the Strategic Planning process and assess institutional effectiveness in meeting College goals and objectives
